CO-OP performing at The Rock Box in San Antonio, Texas on October 26, 2017, with Dash Cooper, Kolby "Beetus" Peoples, Jeremy Tabor, Justin Swartzentruber, and Nick Spann.
Dash Cooper, and Mark Savale, met early in their childhood and soon became close friends. As they grew up, they each began developing their own individual passion for music. Lead singer Dash Cooper (son of Rock legend Alice Cooper) certainly inherited his father's talent for Rock vocals and songwriting, and while he was finding his own voice, Mark pursued his passions for drums.CO-OP shared the stage with One-Eyed Doll, Doll Skin, and The Other LA at the The Rock Box.
They played locally around Phoenix, but it wasn’t until they added lead guitarist Court Stumpf in 2012 that the band started building what would eventually become CO-OP. A graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Stumpf pioneered CO-OP's new direction and sound. The band most recently added Justin Swartzentruber on bass, and the young Kolby Peoples on rhythm guitar to finalize the quintet, culminating their "desert hard rock" vibe.
Taking influence from a wide spectrum of bands and musicians--from AC/DC and Led Zeppelin to Alice in Chains, Queens of the Stone Age, and Corrosion of Conformity--CO-OP started brewing their own individual brand of rock. They record at Full Well Studios with the help of producer Mike Bolenbach at the helm of the console.
Jeremy Baca, and Trade Sound Productions maintain management for the band. In 2016 the band signed with EMP Label group. EP mastered by audio titan Emily Lazar (Foo Fighters, David Bowie, Paul McCartney) and recorded by Mike Bolenbach at Full Well Studios was released in December of 2016. The full length is due out summer 2017, with a tour to follow. (Source: Artist)
