Known primarily as the lead singer and guitarist for bluesy, chart-topping '80s metal outfit Cinderella, Springfield, Pennsylvania-born singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Tom Keifer began playing at a young age. Discovered by Jon Bon Jovi in 1985, Cinderella went on to release four albums between 1986 and 1994, three of which went platinum, before breaking up in 1995 after Keifer suffered a voice injury.

Keifer spent the ensuing years undergoing numerous operations to remove the nodules and fix the paralysis of the left chord. The band reunited in 1997 and toured fairly regularly into the 21st century. Keifer released his well-received solo debut, The Way Life Goes, in 2013. (Source: AllMusic)
Tom Keifer shared the stage with Bret Michaels, Drowning Pool, Back In Black, and Whiskey Bliss at the Fiesta Oyster Bake Festival. The band continues across the United States with the last stop at the Rockfest 80s in Miramar, Florida on November 10, 2018.

Fiesta Oyster Bake
102 Years and Counting. For a third of San Antonio’s history, the Oyster Bake has been part of the fabric of the community. What started as a St. Mary’s University alumni gathering with a handful of people in 1916 on the banks of the San Antonio river downtown has grown to a premier Fiesta San Antonio event with over 70,000 patrons and more than 7,000 volunteers. The Oyster Bake truly is a party with a purpose. 100% of the proceeds raised during the Oyster Bake goes directly back to the students of St. Mary’s University.

By attending the Oyster Bake, you are helping further the education of students and help in their growth as future community leaders. Over the years your patronage has directly contributed millions of dollars in student scholarships and university programs and for this we can simply say, thank you. And in case you were wondering, over the two days of Oyster Bake we go through 100,000 oysters and 32,000 chicken on a sticks with jalapeno! (Source: Festival)
