Texas Volleyball swept Texas A&M, 26-24, 27-25, 25-22, in front of an excited sold-out crowd on Friday evening in Gregory Gym. On her birthday, senior Micaya White led the team with 13 kills, hitting .458, adding three digs, and three blocks. Sophomore Logan Eggleston added ten kills and one block.

The Longhorns' trio of freshmen played a significant role in the match. Middle blocker Asjia O'Neal posted seven kills and three blocks, while opposite Skylar Fields contributed six kills and three blocks. Molly Phillips tacked on five kills and a team-high six blocks. The setting duo of junior Ashley Shook and sophomore Jhenna Gabriel posted 14 and 17 assists, respectively. Shook added three kills on three attempts to provide an offensive spark.

Sophomore libero Sydney Petersen led the Longhorns with eight digs. Senior Autumn Rounsaville added six, and senior Claire Hahn contributed two digs, along with two aces. The Longhorns will return to action on Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. in Gregory Gym to open Big 12 play by hosting Iowa State. (Source: UT Athletics)
