DJ 2DQ has been Austin's Favorite and influential mix DJ in Old School, Hip Hop & R&B music. DJ 2DQ, now a household name, has the most on air experience of any other mix dj on a commercial radio station in Austin, Texas.

DJ 2DQ started mixing on KQBT (BEAT 104.3) in early 2000. Since then he's worked in Austin radio for 17 years, up and down the dial. Known for the records that he plays a distinct repertoire of hits that identify him on the turntables. DJ 2DQ has become known for his innovative mixes through his trademark Quickmix Style (In and Out of records quickly), which resulted in the 5 o'clock mix being the most listened to mixshow on KQBT.

At clubs and parties, DJ 2DQ is known for being able to keep people consistently dancing, drinking and partying throughout his music sets. For many years he released some of the Dopest Mix CD's (52 to date). He has had the opportunity to work with various On Air Personalities, Artists, DJs, MCs, Rapper's, Singers & Graphic Designers to put out the best product. Opening DJ for: Pitbull, Lil Jon, Elton John, Frankie J, Backstreet Boys, Lil Suzy, SPM, 2 Chainz, Information Society, Tone Loc, Salt & Pepa, Naughty By Nature, and All For One just to name a few.
DJ 2DQ shared the stage with Pitbull at the HEB Center. The band continues across the Texas with the last stop at the The North Door in Austin, Texas on May 1, 2020.
