Bayou Soul singer songwriter, Marc Broussard since 2004, has brought to the table his Southern roots in the form of a handful of studio albums, EPs and a live album.

Broussard’s thriving solo career began in the form of a re-worked version of a song called “The Wanderer”, which was released on an album through Island Records called “Carencro”. The title comes from Broussard’s hometown. It was in 2007 that Broussard released “S.O.S: Save Out Soul”, an album made up of covers. It made it to number 96 in the Billboard 200 charts. Following this, he released “Must Be The Water EP” which was recorded on the Rock Boat VII in January 2008. It became Broussard’s debut release on the major label, Atlantic in 2007.

His song “Home” featured in TV shows such as Clash of the Choirs. Another, “Must Be the Water” was the theme song for the 2008 NBA All-Star Game. Around this era, he performed on a variety of late night shows, helping to garner an increasingly widespread and loyal fanbase. He was then to release his third full-length album, “Keep Coming Back”.

Broussard released his following eponymous album on June 14th 2011. The album featured the singles, “Lucky” and “Only Everything”. The following year he signed to Vanguard Records. On his new label he released an album called “Live from Full Sail University” on April 9th 2013, which went to number 27 on the US Rock Charts.
Marc Broussard was the main act at Love & Lightstream with guests Greyhounds and Gina Chavez. The band continues across the United States and Europe with the last stop at the Nell's Jazz and Blues in London, United Kingdom on October 15, 2021.
