Stripped-down folk rock act Shakey Graves has long been a favorite in his native city of Austin, but lately he's been making waves far beyond the borders of the Lone Star State. Taking the stage with a jerry-rigged drum kit that includes a suitcase, Shakey Graves (Alejandro Rose Garcia) captivates audiences with a variety of idiosyncratic techniques including unexpected tempo changes, drastic register shifts, and his off-kilter lyric sensibility. Whether he's crooning on "Built to Roam" or creating an intricate percussion backdrop on "Roll the Bones", Shakey Graves always satisfies on his unforgettable tours.
Shakey Graves such a vibe. What stuck out to me was how amazing of a story teller he was. You were instantly involved in every moment and inside joke he told. Every lyric meant more than the time you heard it before. One of the best and most unique shows I’ve seen in awhile.

Took my 11 year old son for his birthday. This was by far the best show I’ve ever been to, as well as the best Shakey Graves show I’ve been too over the last several years. What an incredible night we will remember forever!

Literally ran into Alejandro on the street, great show, nice new venue. Shook hands at the end of his set, gave me a guitar pick.

This show was amazing, after going to 5 other Shakey Graves concerts, from Missoula, Morrison Colorado (Red Rocks), Minneapolis and twice in Madison this was my favorite show to date.

Met up with Alejandro and Pat at Anchor Spa right before they went on stage. My buddy and I bought them a round of drinks, had a nice conversation and they gave us some guitar picks and then they went on to play an amazing show. Very good set and nice venue. Shakey Graves never disappoints.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I was really only familiar with his "one man band" material but I was pleasantly surprised!

It’s Shakey Effin Graves of course it was an awesome concert, best performer out there. This was my third show of his this year, Missoula, Madison and now St. Paul. 4 shows and counting total, must say I’ll go to many more.

Amazing energy, unmatched talent and conviction for the music he plays. No sparkly lighting or stage sets needed as Alejandro is the show!

Shakey Graves is a true treasure, he brought a fantastic show with a variety of songs to delight fans new and old. Loved the new album sound, the songs are perfect for a concert atmosphere and sounded so much richer and provided a transcendent experience.
Shakey Graves was the main act at Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater with guests Sir Woman. They continue across the United States with the last stop at the The Eastern in Atlanta, Georgia on November 5, 2021.
