Known as pioneers of the new era noise rap scene Moodie Black has snuggly nestled themselves into alt rap lore. Over a decade strong Moodie Black has earned a reputation of being harshly uncompromising while showcasing their affinity for mood and atmosphere.

A band birthed in the deserts of Arizona, forged by a friendship since childhood, Moodie Black (formerly GAHEDiNDIE) have been blazing a trail in the the unfamiliar and exciting world of noise rap for the last several years.

The band's front, K., takes a commanding approach to emceeing and production in this newest release. A very capable lyricist and live performer, K. puts their penchant for original lyrics and monstrous production in the spotlight, stepping out as one of the most unique vocalists and producers in the scene today. The beats are pulsating, expansive, dark, tribal, yet contemporary and industrial. Synths and pulsating drums meet distortion and Robert Smith-esque hooks. Moodie Black make no apologies for their unorthodox approach to every aspect of the sound and live performance.

Some have described Moodie Black as less rap and more something else. Others describe them as the "Nine Inch Nails of Rap". Most would agree, however, that Moodie Black is something extremely unique and sonically devastating.
Moodie Black have established themselves as the new royalty in noise rap. They're not only pushing noise rap to grow and continue to be a fascinating and challenging form, but also, along with the rest of the Fake Four roster, innovating new styles in hip hop while honoring the grandiosity and braggadocio that make it so compelling.
Moodie Black shared the stage with Puscifer at the Bass Concert Hall. They continue across the United States with the last stop at the Marion Oliver McCaw Hall in Seattle, Washington on July 10, 2022.
