Tim Bernardes is a musician, composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist. He has worked with such stars as Tom Zé and David Byrne, among others. He composed all the tracks on the four albums and one EP released by his band, O Terno. He launched his solo career in September 2017, with “Recomeçar” (Restart), which made its way onto the all the major best album lists in Brazil that year.
These included Rolling Stone, which highlighted both the LP and two of its tracks, thus cementing Tim Bernardes’ position as one of the great Brazilian composers of his generation. He is also well known outside Brazil, thanks to a Latin Grammy nomination in 2018, in the category of Best Alternative Music Album in Portuguese.
Tim Bernardes shared the stage with Fleet Foxes at the Moody Amphitheater Waterloo Park. They continue across the United States and Canada with the last stop at the Public Records in Brooklyn, New York on July 26, 2022.
