Described by music critics as math metal and neo-progressive rock, Mudvayne’s sonic musical experimentation is difficult to classify. Chad Gray, Greg Tribbett, Ryan Martinie and Matthew McDonough formed Mudvayne in the late 90’s in Peoria, Illinois.

Their debut album L.D. 50 was released in 2000, with highlights “Dig” and “Death Bloom” achieving success at mainstream rock radio. Their sophomore album, The End of All Things to Come was a critical and commercial success. Mudvayne then released Lost and Found in 2005, achieving their second consecutive Gold record, with the single “Happy?” finishing #1 on the US Mainstream Rock Chart. To date the band has sold over six million records worldwide, including 2008’s The New Game and 2009’s Mudvayne.

In 2010, the band went on hiatus, only to triumphantly return in 2021 with co-headline performances at three of the US’ premiere rock festivals- Inkarcertaion Festival, Welcome to Rockville, and Aftershock. This will be the bands first national tour since 2009.
I went to see mudvayne when they were in our home town, it was so surreal I remember being like 20 feet from the stage and seeing Chad, Natt, Ryan, and Gregg it was so awesome. The best show I have been too.

From the moment the show started it was awesome with 10 years' wasteland and nonpoint playing bullet with a name on it while head banging his ridiculously long dreads. By far the best was Mudvayne, Chad Gray appearing in a mascot suit face painted like a clown and a bright red mohawk. In such a small venue you could almost reach out and touch them and it was just intense.

This was the second time i have seen Mudvayne, the first time I saw them was on the see you on the other side tour with Korn and Nudvayne just absolutely destroyed, so when they came back i was stocked. so I would definitely say that the second time I saw them it was better then before. Probably one of the best bands I have ever seen live. I recommend them for everyone if your looking for a good show.

Mudvayne is insane! The show was very good. For the first time seeing them they were awesome. I loved how close I was no matter where I was, good performance and decent venue.

This is the third time I see Mudvayne and their show keeps getting better. This band is raw. There were a few times where I had to stop and catch my breath. I thought I was gonna pass out! The songs are amazing and they sound even better live than in the album. Mudvayne is easily one of the bands that will blow your mind and once you see them you become an instant fan. I thought the song selection was awesome: some new stuff as expected (die to the new album) but some of the old stuff that brought back old feelings of when I first heard them with their first album. I was soaking wet with sweat, I lost my voice and my ears were ringing for about two days. I loved it! The pits were sick! Everyone was going nuts and Mudvayne did not disappoint!
