Texas Review
Luck Reunion will take place in Spicewood, Texas on March 17, 2023

Luck Reunion will be back in full force in 2023, and will see artists returning to Willie Nelson’s renowned Luck Ranch. The date for the latest version of the self-dubbed ‘anti-festival’ has been confirmed as March 17.

The festival will be headlined by the man himself, Willie Nelson and Family, with Terry Allen & The Panhandle Mystery Band, Spoon and Shane Smith & The Saints heading up the bill.

Sierra Ferrell, Jason Scott and The High Heat, The Heavy Heavy, The Golden Dregs, Guster, Wild Child, Drayton Farley, Jaime Wyatt, Hermanos Gutierrez, Sir Woman, Willis Alan Ramsey, Night Cap, Devon Gilfillian, Particle Kid, Dallas Burrow, Rattlesnake Milk, Tami Neilson, Fruit Bats, Ethel Cain, The Band of Heathens and Michael Martin Murphey are all set to play.

The War and Treaty, Pearla, Jimmie Dale Gilmore & The West Texas Exhiles, Angel White, Arcy Drive, J.Creek Cloggers, Matthew Logan Vasquez, Katie Pruitt, Elvie Shane, Sadurn, Peter One, Thee Sacred Souls and Bob Sneider complete the line-up for what's going to be a juicy 2023 edition.

To top it off, The Black Opry Revue are heading for Luck, presenting a round with Sug Daniels, Aaron Vance, Nikki Morgan, Nicky Diamonds. On top of that, there will be special tributes to both Doug Sahm and Leon Russell, with The Texas Tornadoes and Shaun Sahm paying homage to Sahm and Beau Bedford and Robert Ellis playing for Russell.

Drawing inspiration from the owner of Luck Ranch himself, Luck Reunion prides itself on being the festival equivalent of an outlaw, providing a platform for creatives that are situated outside the artistic straight and narrow. This not only involves bringing together pioneers in the music industry, but also innovators in food and craft.

Luck Reunion’s 2022 event featured performances from Willie Nelson and Family, Charley Crockett, Allison Russell, 49 Winchester and more. The mystique and romance of the location is magnified by the fact that Luck Ranch is an old movie set. It was originally used to film Willie Nelson’s 1986 Western, Red Headed Stranger, inspired by Nelson's album of the same name.

Since the foundations for Luck Reunion were laid down almost ten years ago, the festival has sought to establish itself as an entirely unique live music experience. Long-time fans of this idiosyncratic festival eagerly await the onset of March, which will see them return to the outer edges of Austin, Texas for Luck Reunion 2023.
