Thunderosa began in Tucson, Arizona in 1996. In 2000, after a couple of tours and a few hundred shows, the band landed in Syracuse, New York. The next four years consisted of touring, CD productions and several collaborative projects.

Thunderosa arrived in Austin, Texas in 2005, ready for a fresh start. The boys began to inject the railing Austin rock scene with raging, hard driving original music and infectious, kick ass energy.

Founder and front-man AJ Mac, "We had made a good run at it. We had cemented the Thunderosa brand in multiple brains and ears, and we figured we'd put the horse to bed. I mean, 8 years was a good run, right? Well sir, we were wrong! People knew us, loved the sound and before we knew it, our Texas Thunderosa family was growing. It was on again."

Thunderosa now calls Austin, Texas home. Today, Thunderosa is bigger and badder than ever, still up to the old tricks, and taking them worldwide with European, Mexican and Canadian tours. Older, wiser, and always ready to fight the good fight with 100% pure rock and roll stomp laid out at every show. With thousands of miles under their collective belts and just as many friends, family and fans.
