Mt. Joy is an indie rock band based in Los Angeles by way of Philadelphia. The band features Matt Quinn on vocals and guitar, Sam Cooper on guitar, Sotiris Eliopoulos on drums, Jackie Miclau on keyboards, and Michael Byrnes on bass. The band was formed in 2016, releasing their first single, "Astrovan," recorded in Los Angeles by Quinn, Cooper and Byrnes.

The two original band members, Quinn and Cooper, met in high school in Philadelphia. After parting ways for some time, the two reunited in Los Angeles and began working on music right away. The pair recorded their first single, "Astrovan," with the help of future bandmate Byrnes, who they met on Craigslist, and Byrnes' roommate, producer Caleb Nelson. Mt. Joy signed with Dualtone Records. Later that year, they released their self-titled debut album. One of the songs from the album, "Silver Lining," peaked at No.1 on the Billboard Triple A charts.

Mt. Joy's third album, Orange Blood, featuring the singles "Lemon Tree" (which made the Top 10 on AAA radio and was hailed as a "next-level song" by NPR); "Evergreen"' the title track from the album; and "Bathroom Light." The accompanying music video for "Evergreen" also features a cameo from Creed Bratton from "The Office."

"We put so much love into this album," said Quinn in an interview with uDiscover Music. "My dream for this record is that it gives people a chance to be present and connect with something outside of the daily doom scroll." Catch Mt. Joy when they come to a city near you.

Such amazing visuals combined with amazing music and I just can’t say enough good things about this band!

Best concert and venue I have been to. Not a bad seat in the house. Mt Joy was amazing gave me goosebumps!

What a great show. Couldn’t have been any better! Can’t wait to see them again.

I’ve seen Mt Joy five times this year and this was by far one of their best shows. They have the whole performance nailed down, the feature songs are amazing, the whole thing was great. 10/10

Anticipation! Outstanding show in an amazing venue! We have seem Mt Joy multiple times, this one was the best ever! Loved every minute. In addition to experiencing the band, it was amazing to watch and experience the audience so happy singing and and moving to every word! A wonderful night!

Everything I could have wanted! Unbelievable show from this talented band.

An out of body experience. Mt. Joy was the hands down the best concert I have ever been to. Them in Massey hall was a life changing experience. Their energy, the crowd, the music and visuals were all mind blowing. Even better than when I saw them open for the Lumineers. I cannot describe how amazing they are at performing, you just have to go see them. I cannot wait until they are back again.

Amazing show! This concert far exceeded my expectations. My. Joy knows how to put on a show!

One of the best concerts I've been to! I recently discovered Mt. Joy and love their vibe and songs! It was truly an awesome concert and enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely a 10/10 will see them again!
