Brand of Sacrifice is a deathcore band from Toronto and Manhattan, featuring members from The Afterimage and Ascariasis, formed in 2018. As an extreme music entity, they are unusual; their raison d'être is based on the cult anime/manga series Berserk.
Lead vocalist Kyle Anderson describes their music as "the death metal of anime." Their sonic approach employs tenets of hardcore and technical death metal with dual guitars, blastbeat drums, and guttural vocals. They also utilize elements from outside the confines of extreme music: The Interstice, their debut EP, included sitar solos, a full choir, horns, harp, lyre, and other early classical instruments. The group's full-length, Godhand, made a strong showing on the Heatseeker chart and was followed by Lifeblood.

BoS is always an amazing show! They played some new songs, and they are fire as usual! Can’t wait for the official release!
Fourth time seeing them, and they get better each time. Kyle works the crowd like a seasoned pro, and the pits he whips up are like miniature war zones. If you never see Brand of Sacrifice live, you're missing out.
BOS have step up their live show. From the first couple of times I saw them. They are going to be a headlining band soon.

Brand of Sacrifice was literally everything we were hoping it would be. The show sold out literally for these guys and they were the first opening act! I want them to tour as the headliner. Everyone left wanting more Brand of Sacrifice. Unbelievable. Highly recommend 10/10!

Brand Of Sacrifice shared the stage with August Burns Red, Spite, and Crystal Lake at Emo's Austin. They continue across the United States, Australia, and Europe with the last stop at the Download Festival 2024 in Derby, United Kingdom on June 14-16, 2024.
