The Pearsall Mavericks proved to be no match for the Texans, as Wimberley extended its undefeated record to 11-0 following a decisive Bi-district victory on Thursday night at Alamo Heights High School Stadium in San Antonio.

Quarterback Cody Stoever showcased his skills by rushing for a touchdown and completing five of six passes, amassing a total of 151 yards. Notably, three of these passes resulted in touchdowns to Owen Oneal, Noah Birdsong, and Ty Thames.

Benji Olmeado contributed to the offensive success by rushing for a touchdown, achieving the milestone of 100 yards in the team's total of 253 yards. The scoring spree continued with Chase Carson, Colton Schmidt, and freshman Josh Belanger each securing rushing touchdowns. Bryson Young's recovery of a fumble in the end zone added another touchdown to the tally, while Drew Brasher turned an interception into a pick-six with an impressive 83-yard return for a touchdown.

Wimberley, boasting an unblemished 11-0 record, is set to face Orange Grove (7-4) in the Area round of the playoffs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, at Schertz Clemens High School's Lehnhoff Stadium.
