Hailing from Narrm (Melbourne, Australia), Divide and Dissolve is a powerful musical duo formed by Takiaya Reed and Sylvie Nehill. Combining drums, guitar, saxophone, and live effects, they craft music that challenges colonialism, dismantles centralized power structures, and fights against white supremacy.

Takiaya, of Cherokee descent and hailing from Turtle Island (so-called United States), and Sylvie, who grew up in Geelong and has Māori heritage, weave their ancestral reverence into their music. Their live performances have garnered them widespread acclaim, renowned for their immersive and powerful soundscapes created by a "bone-crushing wall of amps."

Divide and Dissolve shared the stage with Chelsea Wolfe at the Scoot Inn. They continue across the United States, Canada, and Europe with the last stop at the Marble Factory in Bristol, England on November 2, 2024.
