Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Good Morning is a musical endeavor spearheaded by Stefan Blair and Liam Parsons, who have been songwriting partners since their high school days. Their journey began in 2013 when they invested in a Foxtex 4 track tape machine, laying the groundwork for the project that would become Good Morning. Over the years, they have cultivated their sound, releasing two EPs—Shawcross in 2014 and Glory in 2016.

In 2018, their debut LP Prize // Reward was launched under Bedroom Suck Records, followed by subsequent releases including The Option (2019), Basketball Breakups (2019), Barnyard (2021), and Good Morning Seven (2024). Alongside these albums, the duo has consistently dropped singles, often paired together, and even hinted at a compilation album featuring these tracks.

Throughout their musical journey, Good Morning has welcomed various collaborators, both in the studio and during live performances, such as Dannika Horvat, Dylan Young, Glenn Blair, Greer Clemens, James Macleod, Joey Alexander, John Considine, Liam "Snowy" Halliwell, and Mikey Young. Their live experiences include touring with acclaimed acts like Frankie Cosmos and Waxahatchee.

Noteworthy record labels like Polyvinyl and Sub Pop, as well as local entities such as Bedroom Suck and Our Golden Friend, have been associated with their releases. Additionally, the band has its own imprint, Good Morning Music Company Worldwide (GMMCW). Their unique blend of jangle-pop resonates with the vibrant Melbourne music scene, earning praise from artists like Tyler, The Creator, and A$AP Rocky.
