Flummox | Texas Review | Ralph Arvesen

Formed in the summer of 2012 in a run-down trailer by an old Tennessee highway, Flummox was born to embrace all things weird, unconventional, and utterly chaotic. The brainchild of two eccentric, magic-loving teenage rebels, Alyson Blake Dellinger and Drew Jones, the duo set out to create a band free of genre labels, musical constraints, or rigid rules.

Flummox could be anything they wanted it to be, and so far, it has been. Their music spans a wide range of styles, jumping between heavy rock, funk, extreme metal, jazz fusion, progressive rock, avant-garde, bluegrass, power pop, and even doo-wop, without catering to any specific demographic or conforming to musical boundaries.
Fan reviews:

Extraordinary performance. Truly a masterpiece of musical madness to witness. Amazing !

Wow is all I'm going to say.
Flummox shared the stage with Mac Sabbath and Descartes A Kant at the Meanwhile Brewing. They continue across the United States with the last stop at the Hi-Tone Cafe in Memphis, Tennessee on September 22, 2024.
