Formed in Tallahassee, Florida, Creed emerged as a dominant force in the late 1990s and early 2000s post-grunge movement. The band's core lineup, consisting of lead vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips, propelled them to international fame.
Creed's first two albums, My Own Prison and Human Clay, achieved massive commercial success, despite mixed critical reception. Human Clay, in particular, became a diamond-certified album, driven by the chart-topping single "With Arms Wide Open," which also earned a Grammy Award.
Following Marshall's, Creed released their third album, Weathered, with Tremonti taking over bass duties. After disbanding in 2004, the members pursued various projects, including Alter Bridge.
Creed reunited in 2009, releasing Full Circle and embarking on several tours before another hiatus in 2012. In a surprising move, the band reunited once more in 2023, and headlined the Summer of '99 cruise and tours across United States and Canada, reigniting nostalgia for their iconic era.

What an experience this concert was. First Mammoth WVH has a new fan. His guitar skills are insane. Then 3 Doors Down comes in and rocks the roof off. Age hasn’t slowed them down. Finally, Creed takes the crowd on a journey that I am sure healed so many attendees that night. I was expecting it to be great but it exceeded expectations.
The concert was fantastic! The venue and also fantastic! I would definitely recommend both. I’ve been to numerous concerts and venues. This was one of the best!
