The No. 5-ranked Texas Volleyball team will feature prominently on national television this season, with six matches airing on ESPN networks—including a high-profile home opener against No. 6 Stanford at Moody Center. Additionally, every SEC conference match will be broadcast on the SEC Network or SECN+, ensuring fans won’t miss a moment of the action.
High-Profile Non-Conference Slate Kicks Off Season
The Longhorns open their campaign at the Opening Spike Classic in Madison, Wisconsin, facing No. 12 Creighton on Aug. 29 and No. 8 Wisconsin on Aug. 31, with both matches streaming on the Big Ten Network. After a road trip to face Rice, Texas returns to Moody Center for its ESPN debut against Stanford, marking the program’s first-ever noon home match in the venue—expected to draw a sellout crowd. The Longhorns then head to Fort Worth for the Shriners Children’s Showdown at the Net, taking on No. 4 Louisville on Sept. 10 (ESPN).
SEC Network Takes Over Conference Play
Texas returns home for a five-match homestand, including clashes with No. 13 Arizona State (ESPN2) and No. 25 TCU (ESPNU). SEC play begins with a Sept. 19 showdown against No. 20 Baylor on the SEC Network, followed by matchups against Vanderbilt (Sept. 24, SECN) and Missouri (Sept. 26, SECN+). Five straight conference matches—against Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Alabama, and Arkansas—will stream on SECN+ before the Longhorns return to ESPN for a primetime battle with Oklahoma on Oct. 19 (7:30 p.m.).
Late-Season Marquee Matchups
Key road tests include trips to Ole Miss (SEC Network), LSU (SECN+), and No. 9 Texas A&M (SECN+). The final ESPN appearance comes Nov. 2 when No. 7 Kentucky visits Austin. The regular season wraps with Florida (SEC Network), Auburn (SECN+), and South Carolina (SECN+) before the SEC Tournament, airing in full on the SEC Network. With multiple top-10 showdowns and extensive national coverage, Texas Volleyball is poised for another thrilling season in the spotlight.
