Comedy band Ninja Sex Party has but one goal: To take your body sweetly by the hand and then rock its face off with amazing music. The band's lead singer, Danny Sexbang, is tender yet firm, sensual yet masculine, and super horny yet not creepy about it. Danny is accompanied on keyboards by his best friend and roommate Ninja Brian, the ultimate martial arts champion/electronic music enthusiast.Ninja Sex Party is a Los Angeles-based 1980s-style comedy band created by and featuring Dan Avidan (vocals) and Brian Wecht (keyboards). Dan is one of the co-stars of the YouTube gaming channel Game Grumps, and Brian is a former theoretical physicist who left a professorship to work on Ninja Sex Party full time. Since Ninja Sex Party’s inception in 2009, the band has performed sold-out shows coast to coast, released more than 30 music videos, garnered over a million YouTube subscribers, and was named one of the Top Ten Sex Artists in Australia by Spotify. Along with Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson from Game Grumps, Dan and Brian are also in the band Starbomb, which performs comedy hip hop songs about video games.
As the long-awaited headliner of the night, Ninja Sex Party, took the stage, every single hand went to the air, all thrusting up either a heart, horns, or middle fingers. The group played everything from “Cool Patrol” and “The No Pants Dance” to a cover of the classic “You Spin Me Round” by Dead Or Alive. Between songs, a short movie of the epic battle between Danny and Lazersaurus played on the jumbo screen. The entire crowd was drawn into the comedic story line, groaning when Danny was knocked down and cheering wildly every time the hero emerged victorious. The whole time, Ninja Brian kept the crowd entertained with teasing gestures and congo interludes on the piano. Ninja Sex Party closed with their hit “Danny Don’t You Know?”, which had the whole crowd chanting along as they rejoiced in the awkwardness of growing up.
