Formerly the lead guitarist of highly revered metal band Metallica, frontman and guitarist Dave Mustaine formed Megadeth in 1983. Alongside Anthrax, Metallica and Slayer, Megadeth are credited as being one of the driving forces of thrash metal music over the ’80s and ‘90s, however differ from their peers by dropping some of the progressive rock influences and emphasizing the skills and attack of instrumental accompaniments.

Megadeth have taken their place as one of metal’s most influential and respected acts, not to mention among its most successful. They have gone on to sell more than 38 million albums worldwide, earning numerous accolades including a 2017 GRAMMY® Award for “Best Metal Performance” for the title track “Dystopia,” 12 GRAMMY® nominations, and scoring five consecutive platinum albums.

With sheer determination and a relentless recording and touring schedule, Megadeth worked their way up from headlining clubs to headlining arenas, festival and stadiums, cementing a legacy that continues to grow and spread throughout the world.
Dave Mustaine is consistently one of the most intriguing rock stars in metal. Whether you agree with him 100% of the time or not, it's indisputable that his presence is a marvel to behold. One thing's for certain, from the moment the intro tape stops to the closing notes of "Holy Wars", a Megadeth show is going to batter you with a high energy, virtuosic, anthem laden roller coaster.

I loved Megadeth for years, they are so good and still sound the same as back in 1985.

Simply amazing concert all the way around! All the bands rocked the place in their own way. Sang my heart out and enjoyed every minute of it.

It was one of best and craziest shows I've been to! I cant wait to see Megadeth again.

Epic show! All bands were amazing but of course Megadeth was the best! Dave was obliterating the axe and the stage show was great.

Been a long time since I have seen Megadeth. Have to say they put on a good show. Havoc was good.

Absolutely incredible! This was my first Megadeth concert, when Megadeth came out, holy shit, they rocked the place. It was so heavy, I could feel it in my chest, the lights were going and I became a fan! I can't wait to see them again, and this chick is now a heavy metal fan.
